From the beloved, white with yellow center, single-petal flower to the newer fringed, double petal flowers, Shasta Daisies offer something for everyone. With dwarf to tall forms, they also offer something to fit every garden. Excellent cut flower. Easy to grow.
Leucanthemum x superbum "Crazy Daisy" is a frilly spin on the Shasta Daisy! Double-petal white flowers with a yellow center, bloom June and July. 24-28" height. Flowers 6 in diameter. Deadheading will prolong bloom time into August.
No two blooms are just alike! A froth of white petals and varying flower shapes add interest to any border or bouquet. 'Crazy Daisy' will bloom prolifically from early summer to early fall.
(Formerly Chrysanthemum maximum) No sunny border would seem complete without the familiar presence of Shasta Daisies. This is a unique strain, featuring flowers with very finely-cut or fringed petals surrounding a golden centre. Also excellent in tubs or mixed containers. Flowers are ideal for cutting. Divide plants in the spring every 2 to 3 years to maintain vigour. Removing faded flowers regularly will greatly increase the blooming time. Attractive to butterflies.
