White Express Lily has a pure white colour with bright orange stamen. This Oriental Lily will produce fragrant flowers up to 16-18cm (7 inches) in diameter and may reach 1.15-120m (3-4 feet) in height. A very popular variety used in wedding bouquets and at Christmas and Easter.
Spectacular Oriental Lilies are one of the last groups of lilies to bloom, giving you incredible colour and fragrance in the late summer garden. Large, exotic flowers have an incredible scent. As a cut flower, just one stem is often enough to make an elegant centerpiece of bouquet. Each bulb will produce more and more flowers every year, eventually producing more stems as well.
Lilies have traditionally been associated with purity and chastity. The flower is associated with Virgin Mary. In Greek mythology, it is a symbol of motherhood and rebirth as it is believed to be formed from Hera's milk. The Oriental lilies are extremely beautiful and a 'universal symbol for beauty'. They express an air of wealth and decadence. Therefore, they are great as congratulatory gifts for people who have been recently promoted or even those who have found their dream job. Known for its purity and innocent beauty, the Oriental lilies is also used as wedding flowers.
