On sunny days, this burgundy petunia looks like a combination of fuchsia pink and burgundy, depending on how the light hits the different ruffles of the petals. From the back side, you see more softer shades of pink, plum and burgundy. And on cloudy days or in the shade, the velvet burgundy shows more.
Grandiflora Double - popular for containers, pots ore more formal bedding. Most plants are 12 in./31 cm, blooms fully double 3 1/2 in./9 cm.
So extravagantly ruffled and fully held that they look like giant Carnations instead of Petunias, the blooms in this splendid mix are the most colorful, extra-large, fancy Grandifloras it has ever been my pleasure to grow. You will simply love them in baskets and pots, borders and beds, over a long summer season. Double Cascade was bred for good weather resistance, and these blooms won't collapse in the first summer storm that comes along. Their many-petalled form looks as dainty as watered silk, but holds its shape remarkably well. And...
