Product Details

Our greeting cards are 5" x 7" in size and are produced on digital offset printers using 100 lb. paper stock. Each card is coated with a UV protectant on the outside surface which produces a semi-gloss finish. The inside of each card has a matte white finish and can be customized with your own message up to 500 characters in length. Each card comes with a white envelope for mailing or gift giving.

Artist's Description

This piece has been featured in the FAA Groups, "Kaleidoscopes and Symmetry" and "Artists News".
It began life as an image of the Tricyrtis Formosana or Japanese Toad Lily named Empress and therefore, contains a naturally occuring color/colour combination found in nature. Other abstracts containing the same colours are available in my "Colour Composition of Nature" Gallery. If you see the colours you like, but they are not in the particular colour movement or treatment you like, drop me a line and I can design one for you.
Abstract art uses a visual language of form, color and line to create a composition which may exist with a degree of independence from visual references in the world. By the end of the 19th century many artists felt a need to create a new kind of art which would encompass the fundamental changes taking place in technology, science and philosophy.
