Seattle is a Dahlia classified as A-ID-BI-YW. This means it is Large in size (A: Large flowers over 8 to 10 inches (25.4 to 20.3 cm) in diameter), ... Informal Decorative in form (Informal Decorative: petals are double, irregularly distributed, not flattened but wavy, twisted, or curly and may roll backward. These are the big ones. This group includes the "Dinnerplate Dahlias', while that name is not an official one. Flowers are fully double and the plants are tall. Flower size is the largest, up to 12 inches across. Plants grow up to 60' (5 feet) tall), ... and it's a Bi-colour (Bicolor - blooms with two distinctly clear and sharply separated color) of Yellow and White. Athough, Seattle does get a rosy pink glow as it ages, beginning from the line between the white petal tips and the yellow roots and along their edges and veins. It stands about 42-48" tall.
