Description
Narcissiflora or Daffodil-flowered Begonias are large more or less double flowers with central tepals which form a "trumpet". Daffodil Begonias are particularly unique, rare and strikingly pretty. Begonia Daffodil Salmon has soft blooms in a gorgeous shade of salmon pink. AmeriHybrid Daffodil Salmon Begonias are also known as Begonia Narcissiflora. They grow up to 18 inches tall.
Begonia bulbs are typically planted in the spring, although they can be grown indoors year-round. Their flowers first start opening around mid-summer and they bloom continuously until the first signs of frost. Begonias enjoy partial sun to full shade and are great plants for all zones. They are hardy in zones 9-10. For all other zones, lift the bulbs before the first frost, store in a cool, dark location and replant the following spring.
